H1 going for EAD/Sp - can H1 spouse work?

Currently on H1 visa (moved from L1A since 7 year term was complete). I have an EAD & AP, my spouse does not because we weren't married when 485 was filed.

My H4 spouse is intending to work now. Please let me know if there are any options (meaning if I start using my EAD for work will that her eligible for EAD, etc). Looking for your thoughts, if any.

------- you are on H1 status and you have your I-485 filed and have EAD and AP in hand but spouse is on H4 status and Spouse I-485 is NOT filed.

-------- Your spouse cannot work on H4. Spouse also does not have EAD in hand as no I-485 is filed for Spouse.

*** If YOU the Primary use EAD then you will not be on H1 status and your spouse will not be on H4 status. Maintain your H1 status so that your spouse can remain on H4(H4 cant work) so that when your PD becomes current file Spouse I-485, EAD AP.
