did you apply for h-1 while your b-1 was valid or after your b-1 expired and ypou were waiting for its extension? also to which service center did you apply for b-1 extn?

  i applied for h1 after my b1 duration on i94 expired,i applied for extension at vermont and i have not received a reply for extension,please kindly advise what to do,
