---- if you have been on H4 for 6 years, you cant apply H1 from US go out, stay 1 year out of US then apply fresh H1if you find any US employer who can file H1 for you if you are eligible, others will guide you with more info, you CAN file H4 extension with your spouse H1 extension

Now..Can I apply for h1-visa this april'05 ..while my husband's h1 7th yr ext apllication is pending. His 6yr period will complete in feb'05.
