H1 (for me) / F1 (for my wife) visa stamping

I am on H1 and my wife is on F1 (previously on H4). We both need visa stamping so that can make a trip back home. We are considering going to Canada for stamping.

F1 is supposed to be with an intent to go back to home country. If spouse is
on H1 visa, how do one prove the intent to go back. Can this question come up for F1 visa stamping or am I thinking too much.

Married to an H-1 may become an issue for an F-1 visa seeker. It will be slightly more difficult to overcome 214(b) for such an F-1 applicant.

I am in a similar situation. I was thinking of going to Canada/Mexico to get my H1B stamped and my wife's F-1. I am concerned about the F-1 Stamping.
Could anyone please let me know about your experience with F-1 visa renewal in Canada/Mexico.
