H1->f1->h1

Hello All!

I am on H1B visa working. I want to get an addmission into a university to do MS. Obviously my status would change from H1B to F1.I am assuming that I can still stay in US without getting the F1 visa stamped. I have completed almost 5 years on H1B. My questions are: -
1. Can I get a fresh H1 after completing my MS.

2. If so, after how much time after changing my status from H1B to F1 am I eligible for a fresh H1B visa.

3. Can I apply for a GC, which my company is willing to sponsor and still continue MS.

I would appreciated any inputs on this. Thanks.

Yes . For only one year. You have stayed 5 yrs in US. Unless you get out of the country for a year you are not eligible for another fresh 6 yrs. If you have your LC pending more tha a year you can continue to stay by renewing your H1 every year.

2. If so, after how much time after changing my status from H1B to F1 am I eligible for a fresh H1B visa.

Even after 10 times you are not eliglbe for new H1 unless you are out of US one year.
