H1-F1-Back to H1

Guys,
Please help me with this question!!

I came to US on H1-B in 2003 September and I changed my status to F1 in 2005. Now I am going to India for vocation/F1 visa stamping. In case my F1 is rejected, I would like to know whether it is possible to re-instate my old H1 through another employer? My old H1 would have been expired my september, 2006.

Any info is appreciated.
 
You can come with new H1 which is not come under any quota.
