My Current h1 Expires in FEB 2003, I have Applied for my Extension my Question is am i out of status after Feb 2003 if i dont get an Approval
and DO i quit my Employment After Feb 2003 and Join agian after i get the Approval

Please answer

No Benim!
You would not be out of status. The only scenario you would be out of status is if
INS rejects your petition (to be sure talk to
your lawyer.)

As far as I know you are legally allowed to
stay for a period of 240 days after your visa
has expired if your H-1 extension has already
been filed.

Yes you can travel Internationally if you have a multiple entry Visa with an Expiry date which is beyond the date of your Return to US
