H1 Extension

Hi,

I need some advice. I do have h1b visa till Dec 2011. Another firm bought our firm. They are planning to file h1 extension for me. They had requested certified LCA's. We have not received it from DOL yet. But i must home this week for marriage.
Can they file my h1 extension when i am out of country and send me approved i797 at home? Can i file H4 for my wife on old petition.
I appreciate help from you.

I dont know why they are filing H1 extension they can file H1 amendment. Talk to your Company lawyer for your Options.
