H1 extension. Strange situation - Please help

I have been on H1B for the past six years. My six year quota is expiring in the end of July. The company I’m currently working for the past one year had applied for my labor certificate in the August 2004(slightly less than one year). For this one the state labor was cleared six months before. Can I apply for an H1 extension beyond the 6 years based on this labor application?. Another option I have is using another labor certificate filed for me by another company for whom I never worked in the month of June 2004(over a year from my H1 expiration). However that company is asking me to pay a substantial amount of money to apply for H1 extension. Can I use this labor certificate with my current company to obtain an H1 extension beyond the six years?

In short to have an H1 B extension beyond the six years, do we have to have a pending labor certificate application with the same company or can we use the labor application pending over an year with another company?
Anybody with similar experience? Any kind of information will be appreciated.

Rule is labor should be pending more than 365 days from any company and for any benificiary. In conclusion you are eligible to get the extension based on the second labor that you have mentioned above.Hope this.
