H1 extension query

Hi

I have got my H1 extension for oct 2008 to oct 2011 and also have my I-797 with me.
I have my H1 visa until oct 2008 and am planning to visit India between Aug 7 to Aug 22.
Will I be facing any problems at the port of entry or any other documents are advised to carry along?

you are on H1 status and got H1 extension approved till 2011
if you have Valid H1 visa stamp when you enter US on August 22 then at POE show your valid H1 visa stamp in passport AND H1 extension approval notice and you will get I-94 till oct 2011.
**you can take the letter from employer that you are working with them and Show only IF asked
