Hi,

I have to extend my h1b, which is with in six years period range and with same employer.

My question is, Is this possible to apply for h1 extension without attorney ?

I have my old petition with me. Can I copy most of the stuff from there and apply myself for h1 extension.
Any help will be appreciable.

thanks in advance.

Please let me know if my question in above thread is not clear.
or
Did I ask any stupid question which is not feasible ?

(I have fed up paying 1000s of $$$ to attornies for GC,H1 renewal,H1 extenstion, revalidation etc. etc., So just thought If this time I can try myself or not.... )

H-1B Extension

Yes you can do H-1B paperwork yourself. I did 2 Trade NAfta's myself and after those an H-1B. Make sure you are using the most up to date forms. Get them from the USCIS site only. Yes you can copy a lot of the old data onto the new forms. MAKE SURE YOU SEND TO RIGHT ADDRESS AND PAY THE RIGHT FEES.

Dear grunggy,

I have already received LCA confirmation from online services.

Can you please tell me if it is required to fill in G-28 form (Notice of entry of appearance) ? If yes, then can i fille this as i will appear myself or this has to have someone else in company ?

thanks

Hi everybody,

I received my h1b approval yesterday only.
I did myself. First I submitted regular processing but I didn't recd even their receipt. After waiting for one month, I converted my case into premium and sent them $1000 money order. Guess what ? I got approval with in 10 days. It seems to me they just handle premium case properly.
Any way I am happy, at least I paid my attorney fee for premium processing purpose.
