H1 extension after filing I-485

I have my I-140 approved and going to file I-485 next month.My 7th year H1B expires March 2008.I will be filing for a 3 year extension of H1B (since 140 approved) in october 2007.Is this extension going to be smooth or problematic (Since I am requesting for extension of a non-immigrant visa while adjustment of status to a permanent resident is pending)

Anybody in a similar situation?

H1B is dual intent, it should not be an issue.
