Guys,
If the H1 I have is about to expire in the next few months (6th year), and if the chances of the 485 getting approved by then are slim, what is the standard procedure? Do we have to obtain an extension on the H1 visa for a year, or just by virtue of having a valid EAD and an application in process for adjustment of status good enough to continue staying and working here?
