H1 expiring ....

My 6 yrs of H1 is expiring 2nd week of april, I got my EAD and AP , I am not planning to apply for 7th yr extension, do I or my employer need to do anything specific to say that I am currently working on EAD ? fill any forms ? notify anybody ?

ask ur employer for I-9 form. fill it up and submit it back to him. he should be able to take care beyond that point.

with the EAD number in there.. just to be on the safe side

Employment eligibility verification for the is called I-9 form (US dept. of labor).
Each employee need to fill it when they join for the first time with any employer.
In reference to change to EAD from H-1, others were suggesting to fill a NEW 1-9 form with the employer with information from EAD.
