H1 Expiring after 10th year

Hi All,

Here is some background,

H1 10th Year Expiring Soon.
PD : 10/01/2001
140 Approved
485 Filed 8/15/07 and Still Waiting.
EB3
1 EAD Expired,
2 EAD renewed until 2010
AP until 2009

I have a couple questions, my h1 is expiring soon and I wanted to renew it, however my legal says I don't need to renew it since I have a Valid EAD for next 2 years,
1) Is there any issue if I do not Renew my H1???
2) Is there any chance that 485 gets denied??
3) Can I Change Jobs??
