I work for a company "A" which got merged with a company "B". I hold H1 with company "A" but will be getting paid by the second company after the merger since the name after merger will be "B". Does anybody know whether or not
there is a need for applying for an amendment to the H1B that I hold with company "A" in order to work with "B". The work description, pay and location of my job has not changed after the merger.

Talk to your Company Lawyer. I think B need to file H1 amendment and new LCA.
