H1 change from CIVIL to COMPUTERS

Hi - I have a masters in environmental engineering and working in a construction company. I got my H1 approved as a civil technician. I wanted to move to computers. Will I have a problem when I file for transfer to IT employee.

What document/qualification / experience do you have to prove that you can undertake IT job?.
