H1 cancelled-travel next week

i have booked my ticket to go to india for 2 weeks on the 22nd of july. I lost my job today and my company has said that they will cancel my h1. I have already stamped the visa when i went last time.
Is it ok to go now and return in 2 weeks or will the authorities know that my H1 was cancelled - at the port of entry?
Please advice.

I don't think its safe to come back because you can issues at the port of entry because they may have information that your H1 is cancelled. So I wouln't leave the country if you intend to return. Its just my opinion.

But if still decide to visit your country then your employer is liable to pay for a one-way ticket to your home country if they lay you off. Just FYI

If you want to stay in the US, you should not leave now.
When you come back to the US, i'm sure officer asks you if you are
still working at the company on H1. How will you answer ??

What you should do right now is looking for company sponsoring your H1.
