H1-B Visa Stamping On Transfer

Hello Guys...

I wanted to get clarified on a point I had. I am currently on H-1B with company A and thinking of taking up an offer with company B. My H-1B stamp on my passport is currently valid till April 2004. I would like to know, if upon transfer to company B, whether I must travel to India or a border post (Canada/Mexico) to get a new stamp. Can it not be done by mailing the passport to St.Loius?

Also, if anyone had any information as to how long is it taking these days to get passports back by drop-box services at consulates in India. The consulates are using a new service by name T.T. Services. Their website (www.ttsvisas.com) says 8 working days. Is this correct? Anybody has any information on that? Appreciate any response.

Thanks!

Yes you can get it at St.Louis

And your company A visa is still valid (unless cancelled by the employer)

Should go to Canada or send to St.Loius.

Gurus....
I was in Company A then moved to Company B, got the H1 Transfer d. In the passport I\'ve the company A\'s stamp expiring in November 2002, should I send my passport to St Loius to get it stamped. How long does that take. or Should i got to Montreal (My highest level of education is from US, as that is one of the requirement to go to Canada.) or place like it.. I wish to travel out of this country around november.. Gurus... please advice......

No Title

Don\'t i need a new stamp from company B on the passport as the current stamp is from Company A and is expiring November 2002.
