h1-b traveling

Hi, my company is applying for an H1-B visa for me. I\'m currently on optional practical training (expires in july 2002). If I am approved for the H1-B, for traveling purposes, do I have to return to my home country to stamp my passport, or can I just go to Canada to get my passport stamped? I\'m a Bangladeshi citizen.

u can go to canada for stamping, but i have heard that after 9/11 they have change the policy and can refuse to stamp as well as let u re-enter the U.S
