Here is the scenario:
It is time to renew my H1-B through the company (Company A) I am working at. The H1-B is valid till end of September of 2007. I will have to pay for $1000 extra if I would like to do the Premium Processing.
I am also in my final interview for a position with another company (Company B). I am just buying more time by waiting to renew just in case I get offered the new position.
I have a couple of options and I am not even sure if all of them are possible?
1. Renew H1-B through Company A (with regular Processing) and a few weeks later, transfer my H1-B to Company B if I get the job. (Is this possible)?
2. Renew H1-B through Company A (with Premium Processing) and as soon as I get the approval, transfer my H1-B to Company B.
3. Transfer my H1-B to Company B without renewing it through Company A. (that is if I get an answer soon enough as I am also running out of time and I am sure Company A will keep pushing me to get that renewal very soon).
I am not sure which is the best way to go about getting this done. This has become tricky due to the fact that it is time for renewal. If anyone else has any better suggestions, please let me know...
Thanks.
