H1 B Transfer Period

Hi Everybody.

I filed my H1 transfer petition in Vermont Center with my current employer in May 2003. The Receipt Date is May 30, 2003. I got the receipt notice. I am waiting for the approval notice. Because i got a serious offer in other company. They are waiting on my current h1 transfer approval to transfer my H1 from my current employer to new employer.

How much time does generally Vermont Center take in H1 B transfer cases?

Should be soon

You should get the approval soon. According to the process time they posted recently, they are processing the case with RD of May 30. You can also check the online status at:

My employer filed H1B extension in May 2003 at Vermont BCIS.The receipt date is 23 May 2003.
Currenly, i know that Vermont is processing the files with the reciept date May 30.
My application has not been approved yet and no information recived from BCIS.
Just worried ,because iam planning to visit India.
Does anyone has any idea,how long the processing would take even after the date has passed.
