H1-B stamping necessary ?

Hi,
I changed my employer to a different company and have the new approval notice. My H1 visa says the old company name but is still valid.

I am planning to go on vacation just one week after joining the new company (had my H1 recently transferred) and wanted to know if I need a new stamp on my H1 visa ?

If you have valid visa stamp in your passport through past employer when you want to enter US then at POE show Valid Visa stamp AND H1 transfer approval notice and you will get I-94 till your H1 transfer approval notice. Check the I-94 validity at POE and if any mistakes point it to officer.
