H1 b stamping in Ottawa?

I m a pakistani citizen from usa going to ottawa for H1b stamping. I would appreciate if any of you guys can tell me their experience about h1b stamping from ottawa in detail. I would write my experience after the interview. I booked the apointment for june 5 2007.

I was supposed to go to Ottawa for H1 stamping on June 4th until I got a call from the consulate in Ottawa that my case WILL go for admin processing for atleast 3 months and I can't go back to the US during that time if I come for the appointment. Just wanted to let you know before you go.

I am from Pakistan too and have a common Muslim name. Think before you go.

I also got a call from the Embassy in Ottawa that my case will t ake three months but I said what the hell. my appointment was on 4th july n I got the visa on 5th. My name is the most common name.
I am back in USA working.
The VO was a nice guy he just asked me where do i work? where did I study? how long I have been living in USA? do i have the pay stubs? where is my degree?
thats abt it. I am also from pakistan.
