Gone through many of the threads, but could not find latest and relevant info.
Got an appointment @ Vancouver for H1-B stamping. Wife on H-4. Both going. 2nd H1-B stamping. LCA approved. I-140 Applied today.
1) Sugggestions for decent hotels close to the Consulate office ?
2) On DS-156, Line 36 - Has anyone ever filed an immigrant visa petition on your behalf ? Should I answer Yes since my I-140 is applied ?
3) My H1-B expired in May, 2006. But I got an extension (I-797) till May, 2009. Will this be okay or do you see any issues ?
4) Do we need a visa to enter Vancouver/Canada ?
5) Can I drive from Seattle to Vancover and come back to Seattle by road ?
6) Good place to convert US dollars to CA dollars.
7) Will they give our passports the same day at 3:00 pm or the following day ?
Would be thankful for your replies.
