H1-B spouse got laid off, what should we do?

Filed I-485 in april, get EAD/AP for both me and my spouse.
Both of us were working on H1B and my spouse got laid off as of last week.

Should we file I-539 to change the status to H4?

I think replies were posted to a different thread with the same question elsewhere.

You DO NOT have to change status to H4. She can just sit at home and look for a job(if she wants to work)-her EAD automatically takes affect. Make sure you file for a renewal EAD and AP atleast a little more than 3 months before the expiry.
