H1-B Salary

Hi,

I am from Argentina. I am working for a Company in Argentina that has a subsidiary in EEUU. This year my company provided me a visa H1-B to work in a project in EEUU. My sponsor is my company´s subsidiary in EEUU.

My salary is being paid in Argentina. I am not sure if this is legal or if my sponsor has to pay the salary in EEUU.

I'll be very grateful if you can help me.

if you are staying and working in Argentina then it has nothing to do with H1. H1 is for work in US while you are working from US and staying in US.
