H1-B Revalidation

I and my family planned to go to India in June this year. We have our tickets reservered already.

My I-485 filed on 03/27/2002 and still waiting for my approval. My Advance Parole is expired on 5/2/2003. But I have my H1-B valid till 11/2004.

I came to this Country in 1999 and my passport got stamped with the visa issued that time, it was valid till 2001. In 2000, I changed my company here and my H1-B got transferred, but I did not got it stamped in my passport. I changed my company again in 2001, and my H1-B got transferred and this one is valid till 11/2004 and this H1-B also not got stamped yet.

Can anyone suggest me, Is it OK to get the stamping in India, if so what all the documents I need to carry with me. Or If I need to get it stamped in US, how much time it takes nowadays.

I do not even see the forms (DS-156, DS-157) in www.immigration.gov. If you can help me locate this form, it will be appreciated.

Please help me, I may have to postpone my ticket, once I get the valuable suggestion from you people.

Yes you can get the H stamped in your and your dependents' passports.

All consulates are online and carry links to all the forms. US consulates are not part of BCIS, they belong to dept of state.
