H1-B question I can't find an answer for!!!

Hi, I'm hoping someone can answer my question. I know that the minimum salary for any job I do on an H-1B visa depends on what the prevailing wage is for that job in my geographic location.

However, I need to know if there is any other kind of minimum requirement that I need to meet. For example, min wage is $8.50 in California (where I live). So, would a job which pays $8.50/hr qualify for an H-1B visa?

Please help if you can!!!

Thanks,
Darby

------------------- That is correct. employer must pay minimum what is on LCA and H1 petition that was approved by USCIS.

---------------the Wage on LCA should be paid by H1 employer. I dont think any H1 holder will work for $8.50 or DOL will approve LCA for 8.50.hr for H1
Please help if you can!!!
