H1 B offer while on F-1

Hi,

I am currently doing OPT till the end of year and going back to school for my Masters in Jan' 2010.

My employer will be doing my H1-B in April 2010.

I need some advise on what would be the best way to handle this situation.

Should I start my Masters in Jan and apply for COS to H1B?

I have no idea on how to proceed in this situation.
Any help will be much appreciated

If you start Masters in Jan' 2010, then the employer can not apply for H1-B in April 2010 for you with MS degree, because you only have BS degree at that time.

So, if you want the employer to hire you as MS degree for the H1-B position, you can not do that way.

But if you the position is for BS degree, then it is fine. (also see http://www.greencardapply.com/h1b/h1b_faq.htm)
