Dear Rajiv,

Thank you for providing your kind services.

Layoffs impacted me on June 1, 2023 and I have till July 30th, 2023 to find a new job. I want to get guidance on the potential best approach per my situation:

1. This is my initial H1b and I don't have the H1-b stamp yet on my passport. Any complication here?
2. What will you suggest to do B1/B2 or Day 1 CPT or any other potential options will be safe for me?
3. I already have B1/B2 visa stamp on my passport, If I transfer my H1B to a B2 visa, and when I get a job will I have to leave the US and get stamp and re-enter the US?
4. If I find an employer who had a company for a few years but has never done an H1-b visa nor they are e-Verify. Can there be any risk for approval of the H1-b transfer?
5. What if I find an employer on 50th or 55th day (July 25th, 2023) and they start the transfer process if I go a bit above 60 days of my grace period will it be any complications? What would you suggest?

Thank you so much for your guidance. I look forward to your response.

Best,
Paresh
