- My husband came to US in 1988 after getting his H1 stamped in India. Since then he is working in US, every year getting his revalidation done at St. louis. In between he visited India for a brief time. His current Visa expired in February 2005. Currently, he does possess a valid I797 approval. Prior coming to US, he was working in Saudi Arabia for little over one year. Will he undergo security check (for having worked in Saudi) if we opt to get our H1 revalidated at Canada? What are his chances of getting H1 stamped successfully?
- Currently I am on H4. For the first time when I came to US, I came on H4, stamped at India. In between I got H1 and worked for 6 months. subsequently got my H1 stamped in India. Later lost my H1 status and last year came back to H4 status. Not knowing I sent my passport to St. Louis for revalidation. My Visa was "cancelled with prejudice" and was asked to get the same revalidated by going out of US. I was not in a position to go out of US for revalidation. Is it safe for me to get my passport revalidated at Canada, along with my husband's H1??
