H1-B ---->F1-----H1-B

My H1-B is approaching 6 years, and I am consider go back to school for PHD, my question is, after I graduate from school 5 or 6 years later, will I get new H1-B? Or I still need to leave US for 1 year to get new H1-B? What other option I have?

I believe you have to be out of country for 1 year. But who know what the regulations are 5-6 years from now.
