Folks, My Previous H1 expired Mar 5 2007
H1 Extension Filed on : Feb 6 2007
Recevied Date on Approval Notice says : Feb 6 2007
Notice Date on Approval Notice says : April 17 2007
Approval Notice says : Valid From 03/28/2007 to 03/05/2008
Now the Previous H1 expired on Mar 5 2007 but New extensions is valid from Mar 28 2007 only .
Am I out of status since New starts 23 days later than the previous expiry date ?
I checked with my employer and he says as long as the Received date is before the expiry it is fine . Is it true?
Please help if anyone has similar expereince.
