H1 b Expiring before 365 days. Please Help

I entered US on 11/17/1998.
My 6 years expires on 11/16/2004.
My LC was applied on 11/7/2003.
But my current H1 Expires on 10/23/2004.
( I got 3 yrs extention from 10/24/2001 to 10/23/2004 when I transfered to new company).
Now Can I get 7th year extension when I apply for H1 extension in October 2004? Any experiences shared is highly appriciated. Please help.

------- you can file for H1 extension till 11/16/2004, if your LC is pending more than 365 days on 10/23/2004 and you have evidence of LC filing then you can file 7th year H1 extension
( I got 3 yrs extention from 10/24/2001 to 10/23/2004 when I transfered to new company).

--------USCIS is not clear on this, you need to talk with your lawyer, he may ask for H1 extension till 11/16/2004 and at same time can file 7th year(if LC pending this time more than 365 days)
