Can some one point me to links which actually would show how many H1B's have been issued so far after the cap has been set to 65k and how many H1B's have been issued in the past 2 months?

Thanks a lot!

Some one please answer me!!!

Hellooo.. I would appreciate if some one can reply my above question. :(

Thanks.

According to www.shusterman.com the USCIS is going to stop premium processing in 3-4 weeks time as the H1b cap may reach early. According to Murthy the USCIS is supposed to update the H1b# reached by end of Jan 2004. This is the time to file H1B with premium process those who want file ASAP before the cap reaches

As I had mentioned some time back in another thread, my personal feeling is that the cap would be reached around May or later. Attorneys generally take the better safe than sorry position, and thats why we heard that the cap would be over by early next year. In previous years the INS is reported to have issued more H1B approvals than the cap. Of course no one can rely on these things, and its safest to get the H1B as early as possible.

I was wondering if anyone is aware of any efforts to increase the H1B cap this year. Why isnt anyone complaining? Are there any websites where one can post their comments? Is there a petition being circulated?
