H1-B Cap for Non Profit Organization employees

Hi - I work at a Non Profit Organization and they are sponsoring my H1-B visa. Is that true that candidates that work for Non Profit Organizations do not fall under latest 65000 limit? Can someone, if aware of, explain me the benefits of working for a NPO? Thanks.

that is the only benefit, which means that even if the NPO applies after june 2004(likely date of h1b numbers getting saturated) the H1B approval will not be subject to the cap. Otherwise it is just another h1 job.
