Ok guys I got the visa
Ok guys I got the visa barely by a thread. Please take all your documents. Especially take the original I20 when u transferred from B2 to F1. If you dont have this call your old school, they will have a copy in their records and get it notorised by the school official. This is as good as original. Rejection rate aprox 40% on day I went to Toronto in general. They were giving tough time with all ppl with Asian passports, the Europeans seem to be walking easily. They were giving very hard time to ppl with non US or Canadian degrees.
So getting the visa was good part. Getting stuck in Canada for 4 days sucked. Thank God I went the day before the bombing, God knows what will happen now.

H1B visa renewal in toronto
hi, Myself and my wife are going to Toronto on the 23rd of October for H1B visa stamp. Mine is a renewal after the first 3 yrs. My wife has changed her status from H4 to H1B in Jan 2001.She needs H1B stamped. Both of us are planning on vacation to India and so need this visa stamping.I need some info about the processing times and how is the consulate been since the tragic events in NY and DC. I would urge some info about this ASAP.i would appreciate this very very much. thanks. Sagar.

So did you proceed with your trip in the wake of recent tragic events
I am on an H1-B renewal status & My wife changed from H4 to H1.
Her educational qualifications arre from India. Her I-797 was approved with Education evaluation service certifying it equivalent to U.S Bachelors.
