Hi!
I referred three friends to my apartment complex where I am staying. For each referral, apartment administration gives $300, so I will get $900. They don’t adjust it against rent, but issue a check. They also told me to submit W-9 form
My question is can I take this check.
If yes, Do I have to show it as income when I file taxes.
