H1 B and change in salary

Hi,

I just got an approval for my h1B. But before joining work, the company announced a pay cut effective . Inspite of the pay cut my wages are more than the prevailing wage on the LCA ,that was approved.

Do I still need to get a new LCA or will the old one work?

Any help highly appreciated.
 
Pay cut

I had the same problem. My pay was substantially cut for a couple of months and my company filed hourly H1B amendment for me. I don't know for sure how it works but I heard that you can still work on the old one unless there is substantial pay cut.

So , the company needs to get a new LCA and do the H1B ammendment.
Is that correct ?

Depends upon hoe much reduction in salary

I think it depends upon how much salary reduction took place. Jaxen will have a better knowledge than me.
