My H1B expires by Aug 2004. I have 485 pending. My company no longer pays for H1B . Is it advisable to go on EAD with Advance parole or to go with applying H1B extension ?. Is there any advantage of H1B extension ?

--- The advantage of H1b7th year extension is that you don’t have to file Ead and wait for EAD9one should keep valid EAD for emergency) If I-485 is denied due to any reason then if one has no H1 status he has to leave US. I see very less chances of I-485 denial. If your I-140 is approved and I-485 is pending more than 180 days I feel you are safe and can use EAD. If I am in your situation I will file 7th year H1 regarding extension filing fees you know how to do it I hope you understand If employer is not paying then Y…
