I am on my OPT (Expires Jan '06). I went to a desi consulting co and they applied for an H-1 for me.
I don't like the company I am with and want to go back to school to get my masters.
My company has given me an EAC#, but I am not sure that it is mine. I haven't seen the recipt yet and I don't trust my employers at all.
I need to know:
1. Is there any way to validate my EAC no?
2. If that is my EAC number, can I withdraw the H-1 application on my own and what will be my status if I withdraw before it is approved (Will I revert back to OPT?)?
3. If my H-1 gets approved, will I be able to go back to school without paystubs (i.e. Working)? In other words does an H1 to F1 transfer require paystubs?
