H1 application received date problem

Hi,

My consultant filed for my H1b(general quota). I checked the lin number on uscis h1b status website, it says that it has received on jun 6.

So that means i am out of quota right, Please confirm.

This is because my consultant today called me and was saying pay 1000USD more so that we can process fast. My doubt is if i am not in the quota how can this is possible.

Please help.
 
Unfortunately, you are out of quota. Paying 1000 for premium process does not help to get quota in this case.
 
Probably not. If you are a fresh H1 applicant and you are not a Master's degree holder from a US university, then it will be a problem. But in that case, I dont think that the USCIS will even accept your application.

Your employer is asking you for money for H1B processing? That sounds like he/she is a crook -- probably best to report your employer to the authorities.
