H1->AP->H1 Possible?

-Came to US in 2001 on F1
-Completed MS and started working on H1 in 2004, present status is H1 per I-94
-Never had H1 stamped in my passport, never visited outside US since 2001
-Received AP, when my employer applied for my adjustment of status
-AOS still pending and my take some more time
-Planning to visit my country, get married, and come back using AP as I don't have H1 stamped in passport
-Once I use AP, my status will change to parolee and will no longer be H1
-My current H1 is valid till OCT 2008

Can I apply for H1-premium (extension) from my current employer right after coming back to US in 2007? (I want to do this to change my status from AP to H1 so that my wife can aply for H4)

Any issues?
 
You assumptions may not be corect. Especially security check for certain country takes more than 2 years.
Better consult an immigration attorney regarding bring your spouse under AP status.
