I am working for a government institution and filled for H1 on JUNE 24th 2006. I have not got approved yet so currently I am on my OPT (OPtional Practical Training). I am working fill time. Apart from working full time I contribute articles to a technical website and they pay me for my contributions. People from all around the world contribute to that website and they have approx 200+ authors. The website file the W2 for all the authors. I am not sure how and what they do for the authors living in different countries.
My question is that once I get H1 can I still contribute to that website and get paid? Please keep in mind that I only get paid for my contributions this means that if I dont contribute anything I dont get paid.
