Hi Guys,
New to this site, and so had gone almost every thread I got in last couple of days. Thanks to one and all.
I need help on the below scenario --
I'm working in Company (A) since last 3 + years.
I already have the H1B approval papers from a US company (B) for this year 2004. I will going to the Chennai consulate for stamping very shortly. The validity for the same is till 2007.
Company A wants me to go on a L1 in Jan 05 for 1 year. I'm aware that A has a blanket L1. So, they wants me to go to the Consulate for the stamping sometime soon. (Ofcourse not aware of my H1B)
I'm yet undecided on which offer I'd take.
In such scenario what would happen if --
1. I get the H1B stamping first and then decide to go for the L1 stamping
2. If I postpone my H1B stamping date and go for L1
3. Can I restamp my H1 later ...
4. if I go on L1, can I transfer to the H1 later.
5. Or probably go on L1 now and come back and go on H1 next yearend. Would my H1 still be valid for stamping next year?
