when I renewed my H1 while labor cert.& NIW pending,I got an extension for 3 more years. Now my labor& NIW got approved. I have applied for EAD last month &haven't received anything yet. My question is if I abandon the labor procedures, will my H1 become invalid ? should I wait for my EAD to come through before taking a final decision? Does any one know how long it takes for EAD to come?( I live in NSC area).

I am on my 7th year , my extension was based on the fact that my labor filing had passed 365 days. that is why I am worried about dropping labor processing.
