H1 and H4 transfer. Please help!!

Hi,
I changed the company from A to B, and got my H1 transfered to company B(got I797 form from USCIS last week). But my wife's H4 approval notice has not come yet. I want to track the status of my wife's H4 transfer which I can do using Receipt Number, but I don't have her Receipt number. My empolyer is saying USCIS sends the Receipt and H4 approval notice to employee's address and not to the employer. Is this true????

For H4, petitioner is your wife not your company, if you applied through an attorney , attorney office must have received the receipt notice.

If you would have applied your H1 & H4 together on the same day same packet, you will get the approval at the same time. (Period).

My employer do not have an attOrney, but there is a person in the office who does this job. So according to you, in this case, my employer should get the receipt, right? Within how many days after applying does USCIS sends the receipt??

it seems to be , they did not apply H4 along with your H1?
Check do they applied H4 at all?
Did they get your wife'e signature on the application form?
H1 your signature is not necessary.
