H1 and H4 related query...Which one should I opt for?

Hi,

I'm getting married during August last week and I plan to travel to US
with an H4 visa (as a dependent) during the 1st week of September.

Does this case require a personal appearance at the Chennai Consultate
(belong to South India) ? if so,how early should I start the process of
taking Consultate-Appointment. And also what are the documents required for H4 processing? How long will it take to get a H4 Visa?

And also, I have already filed for a H1B visa, the company which has
offered me a job is ready to get me a Premium H1B-VISA.
So another question I have is, in this scenario is it good to opt for
the premium H1B visa? Or what kind of VISA should I opt for?

---check with the consulate, you may apply Visa immidiatly after marriage

---read the other threads or ask your spouse know who is on H1

----- then why enter on H4??? better get H1 approved then get H1 pproval notice and get H1 Visa and enter on H1 visa

Or what kind of VISA should I opt for?
--- H1 if you want to work. H4 if you dont want to work.
