H visa travel by airplane? Pls help!

Hello,

I am a H1B visa holder and need to travel to Canada with Maple card for a while. My H visa does not have stamp--I transfered from F1 to H1B in the States, but I have valid I-94 and I797. I plan to be back to the States using 30-day Auto Revalidation Rule.

My questions are:
1. Can I travel by airplane? Will the Airliner staff collect my I-94 when I leave the States at the Boarding Gate or somewhere else? Do I HAVE TO go by car?

2. When I return, can I go back by airplane?

Thank you and best regards,

---------They don’t ask for I-94 flight from US to Canada is treated as domestic flight. If you don’t want to give tell them about 30-day rule OR detach your I-94 from your passport while taking the flight and attach when coming back
Do I HAVE TO go by car?
-----------you can
2. When I return, can I go back by airplane?
-Yes
